Brunnsparken
Brunnsparken in Ronneby grew up around a spa that opened in the early 1700s, when people came to drink the iron-rich spring water. The spa is long gone, but the park stayed. It’s about half an hour’s drive from the cabin.
It’s a big, green park with old trees, ponds and small bridges, and wide paths that are easy with a pram. Nothing here asks much of you. You walk a loop, find a bench, and stay a while.
Good to know
- There’s a small Japanese garden in the park, worth a detour on the way round.
- If you want a longer walk, the trails carry on into Brunnsskogen, the forest behind the park.
- The paths are mostly flat and fine for kids and older relatives.
- Entry is free and the park is open all year.
Our take
It’s our pick for a slow, low-effort day, or for when the weather is too grey for the coast. Bring a fika, or combine it with lunch in Ronneby.
